IEEE United Autonomous Robotics Program
Open Source Maker Lab (OSML) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) are working together to create a program for people of all backgrounds to improve their skills in software development, provide working knowledge with embedded systems, integrate machine learning models, work with a multidisciplinary team, implement various sensors, write their own technical paper, and gaining familiarity in the robotics field. Being a project-oriented program, participants will build an autonomous vehicle from the ground up with a group of engineers, with features ranging from obstacle avoidance to receiving environmental data with sensors. This program is meant to provide participants the knowledge required to be a competent engineer with emphasis in the robotics field. If you are someone who is passionate about changing how robotics can help advance mankind, then this program is right for you.
Program includes two months of access to OSML on-site lab and virtual lab at our student rate (30% off regular membership price).
