Palomar Amateur Radio Club and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary invite you to attend a Build Party at OSML!
Please plan ahead to obtain your parts. OSML, PARC, and USCG leadership will have most of the tools and solder you will need, but we will not be providing any of the materials. Check your local or online retailers for parts. If you are shopping at Amazon, please consider designating your favorite charity for Amazon Smile donations! This doesn’t cost you anything extra, but a small part of your purchases will be donated to the charity of your choice by Amazon. (the link above is for Palomar Amateur Radio Club)
Battery Box
Battery Boxes come in all shapes and sizes. Most people use ammo cans, these can either be plastic or metal, and whatever size you feel most comfortable with. The basic box would contain just a battery and room for the wires, flashlight, pocket knife, or other small items. Larger boxes could be built to house multiple batteries, and even a HAM Radio transceiver! There are no limits to how creative you can be with your build. See the last few pages for suggested parts lists.
